Made for Bead and Button Breast Cancer Benefit Auction

A favorite cause of mine since I myself am a breast cancer survivor. The back is the 9 of swords which is the card of despair. The front side is the ace of swords, the card of triumph.

I chose this card as the back of the amulet bag for the Breast Cancer Benefit Auction because this is how many women feel when they first find out that they have breast cancer.

Self-punishment is keynote of this card. It can signify an over-attachment to the past, a sense of hopelessness,or a period of illness and isolation. The up side of this card can be that some of the present situation is self-induced, so that thing may not be as bad or hopeless as they appear. I had to edit out the neat designs on her quilt because you would have had to make the amulet bag larger otherwise. The Ace of Swords is on the back.
