I am going to include directions for the strap as shown. Currently, my inclination is to put a spiral rope one everything. Here's a photo showing the strap and the amulet bag.
The strap is actually brick stitch ( peyote would be better, but my peyote tension is bad and as you can see my brick stitch is good). The core strap is edged with 2-bead fretting (picot edging) so that no thread shows. I've been told that you can color the thread at the end so you don't see it. That is an option, in my opinion when you can't do anything about it like on the edge of layers in a "bas-relief" like piece in square stitch like Horus. BUT, the strap takes a lot of stress and the thread on the edge of the strap is the most likely place to wear and fray. Edging it protects the thread on the edge of the strap.
Here is the graph for the peyote/brick stitch portion. I make a strap without a closure like this, 12 inces long on each side and then join it in the middle where it will be on the back of the neck.
The second graph show how the pattern will look with the fretting. The buttermilk beads will be clear ones and the metallic purple beads will be matte blue AB. Shown belwo is the graph for doing the 2-bead fretting which is lot like 4-BEAD FRETTING

After the strap was attached and edged, same as with the heart amulet locket: the 2-bead fretting is anchored onto the threads showing from return on the square stitch sides. (REFRESHER LINK),
Fretting is added in the gap between where the flat brick stitch ended and the square stitch goes across the side
This picture shows where the fretting is in the picture (between the green lines).
The fringing on the bottom is done as in a regular peyote bag using a bead as an anchor for the fringe. With the fringe done Ta Da! Wearable!
