Waiting in November

This amulet bag I made a few years ago, but I really like it. Recently I put the pattern up for sale at Bead-patterns.com (item 705). It is a tubular brick bag in delicas, but it could be made in flat peyote and enclosed by sewing up the sides. I called it Waiting in November because in Minnesota, you wake up in November and the sun is shining.

But it starts to cloud up and by the end of the day.

The sun is memory and the sky is filled with snowflakes. The strap is a spiral rope with side-drilled fresh water pearls.

You can find the pattern for this bag (both sides) under Cardinal in Winter (Item 705) at
