WHAT DO I DO WITH THIS LAMP BEAD?

WELL, YOU'VE DONE IT.

THAT BEAUTIFUL HANDMADE LAMP BEAD ON EBAY, OR AT EMBELLISHMENT, OR WHATEVER BEAD SHOW, YOU'VE DROPPED A BUNDLE, AND NOW IT'S HOME.

AT FIRST IT WAS JUST GREAT TO LOOK AT IT.

THAT LASTED A COUPLE OF WEEKS.

NOW WHAT?

YOU COULD COP OUT AND PUT IT ON A SATIN CORD AND JUST WEAR IT AROUND YOUR NECK.

BUT IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL DOESN'T DESERVE MORE?

I SUSPECT A LOT OF LAMP BEADS ARE BOUGHT IN A MOMENT OF PASSION AND THEN ARE QUIETLY STORED AWAY IN A DRAWER BECAUSE THE NEW OWNER DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH IT.

THIS SECTION OF MY WEB PAGE IS DEVOTED TO IDEAS ON WHAT TO DO WITH LAMP BEADS IN BEADWORK. DON'T GET ME WRONG, AT MY HOUSE THERE ARE PLENTY OF LAMP BEADS IN DRAWERS. I LIKE TO THINK OF THEM AS AWAITING JUST THE RIGHT PIECE. IN MONTHS WHEN I GET MY PROFIT-SHARING CHECK FROM 3M, I LACK SELF-CONTROL AT EBAY WITH RESPECT TO LAMP BEADS.

I'M GOING TO DIVIDE THIS TOPIC INTO 2:

LAMP BEADS IN AMULET BAGS

LAMP BEADS IN BEADWOVEN NECKLACES (HEAVILY FEATURING SPIRAL ROPES AND TIPS ON THEM.
